I spent the afternoon cleaning my future apartment. I finished the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. They are ready to paint and enjoy. The bedroom (sorry, no photo for some reason), hallway, landing and stairwell are not clean yet. Soon!
Here are some photos that I took today. These were capture before I cleaned… hopefully you can’t see the grime that was once in the bathroom. I can’t wait to get this fancified. I’m actually excited to purge (more) of my things. How bizarre is that?!
I’ve been searching design blogs like designsponge, decor8, and apartment therapy for inspiration for the space. I know I want paint that is not white but that is very light, spurts of colour, and a sense of vintage modernism. Think Anthropologie meets Ikea. And gosh, what would YOU do with those cupboards!?

1. Stairs from the bottom, 2. Stairs, 3. The Landing, 4. Kitchen, 5. Teeny-Tiny Living Space, 6. Hallway, 7. Stained Glass Window, 8. Bathroom (Before), 9. Upper Landing
In my next post I’m going to share some of the colour palates that have peaked my interest… in the meantime, please feel free to share any photos you may think would work with the space!

Wow! I love the wood in the stairway and the windows and front door. The stained glass is pretty. You definitely have some neat elements to work with here. I agree with you that the cabinets in the kitchen definitely need some updating. But you will definitely come up with something and I can’t wait to see what you do with it all.

It sounds like a fun challenge to adjust to tiny living. Especially in a space as adorable as this!
Looking forward to the decorating updates.
(And I love the red couch choice! Will you have aqua pillows? I always wanted the opposite–an aqua blue couch with red pillows.)
