Be present… Stay grounded.

Last weekend was spent in Peterborough with my dear friend (see apartment photos below). She had to work Sunday so I spent my morning creating an expressive arts piece based on my Faery Oracle card from the night before.

The theme of staying in the present and being okay with where I’m at has popped up a lot lately. I chose the “Faeries of the Future” card, and it gave me the message to “STAY GROUNDED.” So sunday when I pulled out the fabric, this is the piece I created.

I have to remind myself not to jump ahead. Don’t be afraid of what is to come, but rather deal with things as they come.

And also I really like my art piece.
