Doesn’t this sushi look lovely? Bobby and I made it a few weeks ago, and I made him wait while I took photos to my satisfaction. Why am I posted old photos of sushi? Because I’m going to out for sushi on Saturday evening with Bobby and his parents. I bought a gift certificate to a Japanese restaurant for his parents for Yule, so this is when we’re using it. And it fits well because it’s a time to celebrat - Bobby just got a job at CMHA, so we’ll be seeing a lot more of eachother. Hurray! This is what we’ll look like eating sushi on Saturday evening…

this is so funny! i tried sushi for the first time in the last 2 weeks. not the fish variety though, the vegetarian one. I really enjoyed it and hope I can find more in the grocery store here locally. ( I was out of town for a month and had it in Montreal.) The green pastey sauce was a bit hot though, thought I’d need to call a fire truck from just tasting a tiny bit with my finger!!
