I don’t have anything specific to blog about, but I tend to get complaints from a certain someone (her name begins with a K) if I don’t update every so often.
My craft room is not as tidy as in the photographs below, as I have been doing some work in there. I spent the majority of today preparing items for my upcoming Craft Show, and also completing an item that I had said I’d prepare for Knit North. See?
Today I also completed my first neckwarmer. I have a pink angorra one ready to be finished as well, but I’ve just recently decided how to finish it. For the blue one below, I used two crocheted flowers with a light blue button to attach the scarfette. And the edges of the sweater went all wavy when I zigzagged… I like the way it looks! It’s a turtleneck cut in half and sewn together.
I also wanted to share this HOOT (yes, that’s HOOT, not HOT!) owl milk jar. I bought it while I was thrifting last friday for a few swaps. Not sure who this will go to… I might keep it for myself! I can’t resist vintage-looking owls in green and orange!
Today I also made a totebag and a pillow. I have fabric set aside for another pillow, and… here’s the exciting part - I’ve got everything prepared for three more totebags… using felt! I’ll post photos when they’re finished!

I’ve never heard of ‘milk jars’. I guess they are just containers for milk, but I’m loving the design on that. Owls…my favourite night birds! :D
