A little while ago, I placed an Alchemy Request on Etsy for a butter dish. I had been looking for a while for a home for my butter, and just couldn’t find what I was looking for. I had a response from laughingoysterbabies, we figured out what was doable and I selected her bid.
Our plans are to glaze it in red and have a few accent colours - green and maybe white (i can’t remember) for the stem. I can’t wait!
I just received an update image from her, and wanted to share it because I’m in love! Her design has gone far beyond what I imagined. She is making two of them incase something awful happens in the kiln (let’s hope it doesn’t!) so if you would like your very own red pottery butter dish, I have a feeling she may post the other one in her shop.
